Delete Your Account

Last updated: 21 May 2026

This page explains how to delete your BOB-O-JOB account and what happens to your data. It applies to the BOB-O-JOB customer app, the BOB-O-JOB Jobber app, and our website — they all use the same account. BOB-O-JOB is operated by BOB O JOB LTD (company number 17231669, registered in England and Wales).

How to request that your account is deleted

Option 1 — Delete it yourself (fastest)

  1. Open the BOB-O-JOB app, or sign in at www.bob-o-job.com.
  2. Go to Account.
  3. Open the Profile tab and scroll to the Danger Zone.
  4. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account is closed straight away and the data listed below is erased.

Option 2 — Ask us to delete it for you

If you can no longer sign in, email privacy@bob-o-job.com from the email address registered to your account, with the subject line "Delete my account". We will verify the request is genuinely from you and complete the deletion within one month (the response window required under UK GDPR).

What is deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:

  • Your login and profile — name, email address, phone number, password and profile photo.
  • For Jobbers: your Jobber profile, skills, service area, uploaded certificates and identity documents stored with us, and your payout account (Stripe Connect).
  • Photos you uploaded — job "before" and "after" photos, job images, dog-walk photos, and any dispute-evidence photos.
  • Saved addresses, saved payment methods, in-app messages, reviews and notifications linked to your account.
  • Your customer record with our payment processor (Stripe).

What we keep, and for how long

For legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention and dispute-handling reasons we must retain a limited set of records after your account is deleted. Where possible, these are anonymised or pseudonymised so they are no longer linked to you.
