Insurance & liability
BOB-O-JOB is a marketplace that connects Customers with independent Jobbers; we are not a party to the service agreement between them. Jobbers are responsible for holding their own appropriate insurance for the work they offer. We strongly recommend public-liability cover but do not verify or guarantee that any individual Jobber holds it — if cover matters to you, please confirm directly with your Jobber before the job begins.
Payment is authorised when you book, but the funds are held by Stripe and are not released to the Jobber until the job is completed — and our dispute process provides a remedy where things go wrong. If you believe you have suffered loss, please raise a dispute through the platform and we will help facilitate a resolution. Full terms are in the Customer Terms and Jobber Terms.
