Referral Promotion Terms & Conditions

These terms explain how our "refer a friend" promotions work — one for Customers referring Customers, and one for Jobbers referring Jobbers. They sit alongside, and do not replace, the general promo-codes-and-credits terms in our Customer Terms (Section 6.4a) and Acceptable Use Policy (Section 12).
1. How it works
Customer scheme. When someone you refer signs up and completes their 1st job, you and they each receive £10 credit. The qualifying job must be priced at more than £25 to trigger the reward. That is the total price of the job as charged to the customer, and the threshold is strictly "more than": a job priced at exactly £25.00, or less, does not trigger a reward.
Jobber scheme. When a Jobber you refer signs up and completes their 2nd job, you and they each receive £10. It is the 2nd completed job, not the 1st — this is deliberate, and different from the Customer scheme above. There is no minimum job value on the Jobber scheme; the £25 threshold above applies only to the Customer scheme.
In both schemes, the reward is credited (Customers) or added to your next payout (Jobbers) automatically once the qualifying job completes. You do not need to claim it.
2. Reward amounts, minimum job value, timing and limits can change
We may change the reward amount, the minimum job value, the dates a promotion runs, or introduce a cap on how many rewards can be earned — by any one person, or in total — at any time. The terms that apply to your referral are the ones in force at the moment your referral's qualifying job completes, not the ones in force when you sent the invite or when your friend signed up. The figures in force are the ones published in Section 1 of this page, and we update them here when they change.
Changing or withdrawing a promotion does not affect a reward already credited to your account.
3. One reward per person you refer, ever
You can refer as many people as you like, and earn a reward for each different person you refer (subject to any cap in place at the time — see Section 2). But we only ever pay one reward per person you refer, even if they later leave and rejoin the platform.
4. This is not for farming rewards
Referral rewards are for genuine new customers and jobbers, not a way to pay yourself. We check for signals of self-dealing — for example, a "referral" made from the same device or connection as the referrer, or to an account whose phone number has not been verified — and may withhold or hold a reward for manual review where we see them. If we conclude a referral was fraudulent, we may withdraw the reward and take action on the accounts involved, as set out in our Acceptable Use Policy.
5. General terms
Referral rewards are promotional credit, not money you have paid us: they have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are personal to your account. The full terms that apply to all credits and promo codes — including what happens if you cancel a job paid for with credit — are in Customer Terms Section 6.4a and Acceptable Use Policy Section 12.
